Season For Weddings!

My Daughter Daisha got married 2 years ago!
So I thought I would share some of my ideas and things  I made to make her  day  magical  for her Bridal Shower!
When I started planning her Bridal Shower I knew the weather was going to be hot. I also knew I wanted it outside.
After knowing how many people were going to be there, then I could figure out how many Tables, Chairs, Linen's and Umbrellas I would need.
Her Wedding theme was "A Fairytale  Wedding" The colors of the Wedding were going to be Purples, Dusty Lavenders,  Ivory and Sage Greens. So I knew I wanted those colors for the shower.  I ordered:
Their were 38 guests so the order worked out well.
  1. 5 Tables
  2. 40  Chairs
  3. 5  Dusty Lavender Tablecloths & 5 Umbrellas.
The colors were so calming!

After I made this Towel Cake I went to Bath & Body and  bought Body Sprays, Candles, Lotion, Shower Gel's & Loofah's
all Purples and lavenders of course! I bought the white parasol at Michael's in the Wedding Dept.
The candles were made by printing pictures that I picked out then printed  on my ink jet printer .I taped the tissue paper on card stoc to give more support going through the printer. After it printed I carefully took off the tissue paper from the card stock then by using my embossing gun the tissue paper clung right to the wax of the candle.I added ribbon and some bling of course!
When I have Party's I always want my guests to leave with a  memory of the party I gave. So I  made songs that had to do with marriage and songs that were special to Daisha & Andrew ! The CD holders were made from my Big Shot And the CD Dye and Scrapbook paper that went with the color theme. Everyone also
left with a Diamond Ring Keychain that was put in a lavender box.

I made the the Frame Votive Holder out of 3 White Frames. I printed the pictures onto vellum from my ink jet printer. Then I used clear glue to glue the pictures into the frame . The Frames I bought did not have glass in them. I bought them at Michael's. Then I hot glued the frames together to form the shape you see . Then I took a glass votive holder and put a Tea Lite candle inside of it . If you don't feel comfortable doing that you can use the little battery operated Tea Lites. At night it is really pretty because of the vellum being see through the pictures illuminate!
This was the table scape that Daisha sat next to.

Inside The Table Scape was decorated with an Eiffel Tower. The reason I bought it was because at Christmas Andrew bought 2 tickets to Paris France knowing  that is where he was going to propose to her! I  put  a picture of  Daisha right after she had gotten her Engagement Ring in this really pretty Blinged out frame! That was on the table as well. It stood right next to her beautiful cake that was shaped like a  storybook. I wanted to look like a Fairytale Book! My friend Sonya did a beautiful job!

A very memorable day!
I made this light from the  glass blocks you get at Home Depot or Lowe's. I decorated it with coordinating Scrapbook paper and 3d stickers. I put a light in it and bow on top. Perfect night light for their bedroom!
The Perfect Fairytale Shower for my Princess!
